Jake Keithley completed his PhD in the School and Clinical Child Psychology program at the University of Toronto. He has worked in a variety of clinical settings throughout his training, including the Toronto District School Board, Surrey Place Centre, and McMaster Children’s Hospital. As part of the Ph.D. program, Jake’s research focuses on the role that the school plays in promoting academic achievement and mental health.
Jake has extensive experience in conducting comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments for children and adults with a wide range of referral concerns including: learning disabilities; ADHD; autism; giftedness; and intellectual disabilities. He is also well-versed in diagnosing and supporting youth with mental health issues such as anxiety and depression. Jake has a contagious sense of humour and is a warm and caring clinician who works hard to ensure that assessments provide a rich and accurate picture of the individual. He also provides meaningful recommendations and strategies that can be implemented both at home and within the school.
