Marla is a member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario with competency in school psychology: assessment, consultation, and intervention. In 2015, she was appointed a Diplomate in school neuropsychology from the American Board of School Neuropsychologists. Marla has been a part of the Cornerstone family since 2014.
Marla’s background involves extensive school experience including her service as a Behaviour Teacher, Post-secondary Learning Disability Specialist and Senior Manager of Student Services. As a dually credentialed teacher, she aims to provide recommendations that are tailored yet practical to address and improve challenges in learning and behaviour. She is honoured to be a certified trainer in Collaborative Problem Solving with Think:Kids. Their philosophy and emphasis on teaching through experience resonates with her commitment to the principles of neuroplasticity and behavioural change.
