CADDRA Conference October, 2019

Cornerstone recently attended the CADDRA conference October 5 and 6, 2019.  This organization is an amazing resource www.caddra.ca and provided many opportunities to learn.   One of the things that has come up recently in the clinic is the concern that individuals who have ADHD, but who do not have a learning disability, are not being recognized as needing accommodations.  Did you know that the Human Rights Code supersedes the Education Act?  With this in mind, we've attached recent documentation about how individuals with ADHD are entitled to scholastic and work-based accommodations. Please feel free to use this reference if you need to clarify how you or someone you love needs to be supported at school or at work.
