This International Self-Care Day, instead of “treating yo’self” to that new item of clothing or spa day, the ISF (International Self-Care Foundation) challenges the globe to treat themselves to better health. This can range anywhere from a good night’s rest and physical activity to setting boundaries in relationships and daily reflection.
July 24th publicizes the importance of practicing true self-care year round. Why this day every year? As a reminder that self-care should be 24-7. Focus is on promotion of nourished lifestyles and wellness using self-care as a foundation of health.
